Jquery Light Box show halfway working please help?

Hi so I read a tutorial on Jquery Photo Albums,

So far I downloaded the Jquery lightbox plugin (js), CSS, and some Jquery app.

I have a js/jquery file saved into my web work space. I havent' uploaded onto the server yet.

I made a script and CSS file... though not too sure if it's wrong or right

So far here are the questions:

1. I managed to make it SORT OF work on Firefox, how do I make Jquery photo slide show work on other browsers? On internet explorer it gives the box

2. When I click the thumbnail of the image it does go onto the grey background with the javascript feel to it/ image but it has no next button, 1 out of 9 image etc, or anything that indicates to go to the next slide, and no window. How do I fix this?

3. Does it work when I upload it to the server only?
