how to get Unicode database support to Adobe Reader for pdf reports

Hi, I have Unicode database and I am generating PDF reports with the i-report , problem is that when I am calling PDF reports from my java application it is not showing contents of Unicode database record with the regional language i.e MARATHI can anyone please help me how should I get Unicode support for adobe reader
