What are the major sources of computer viruses?

The problem of virus infecting computer software, hard disk, flash drives, floppy disk, etc has become a source of worry to computer users. Where do these viruses come from?

most derive from "donwanna work" so someone sell them auto-bots to do the work for them them someone else come along with all-bills-paid by someone who is working and do cracks on it

anyone who says otherwise is selling something

I think anti virus companies do that for sale their software. I am not sure but can you think who has lots of time to create virus codes every day ? Programmers don't want to waste their time to create bad programs.
