Does VMware environment have any backup solution?

We need a backup solution for our VMware servers; we are planning to install VMware servers on our systems. We will be having Windows, Linux on these systems. On few systems we have oracle and sql server installed. My main consideration is for VDR, VCB, Veeam and esXpress. Can TSM backup be used without VCB? Let me know what you recommend.

The best solution for you is to use Vranger Pro, the data is retained for 3 days in vranger. We backup all the data to Vranger pro from our VMWare server. Then we use TSM for converting the data to tape from Vranger Pro. The process involved in restoring the data back to VMWare is smooth & easy.

Do the normal data back up and restore for the other databases like oracle & sql server (backup database to disk & then backup the disk data to tapes). Using any other method will lead to inconsistency in the data. You can backup other VM ware directly, for this you can use something which supports a single backup for the entire host available with you.
